Coloring Contest:

Starting Monday, August 13 through Saturday August 18, WCHC will host a “Coloring Contest” at all sites. Coloring pages will be available for anyone up to age 13 to enter to win a prize. Coloring pages will be displayed in the health centers during the month of August in recognition of Health Center Week. Pick up and return your coloring page at any registration desk for entry, or click here to download the coloring page.

Education Sessions:

Can’t attend our Monday Education Sessions Day? Schedule your free session for Diabetes, Hypertension and Smoking Cessation at our Conowingo or Havre de Grace location by calling 410.378.9696.

Honoring Health Center Heroes Day:

Do you know a WCHC staff member, leader or board member who lives and breathes the Health Center Mission? Someone who goes above and beyond the call of duty to support the health center and its mission to provide quality health care for patients in the community? If so, nominate them as a Health Center Hero today!

Health Screenings Day:

Free Blood Pressure readings available for patients & family members. Please check with registration to take advantage of your free screening!

Public Housing Health Centers Day:

Local housing agencies are invited to visit any of our locations for a tour, a leadership meet and greet and/or request information about the organization, our mission and our services.

Healthcare for the Homeless Day:

Local homeless organizations are invited to visit any of our locations for a tour, a leadership meet & greet and/or request information about WCHC, our mission and our services.

Agricultural Worker Health Day:

Local farmers are invited to visit any of our locations for a tour, a leadership meet & greet and/or request information about WCHC, our mission and our services.

Patient Appreciation Day:

• Dental Screenings: Patients are invited to visit our WCHC | Beacon Health Office for free dental screenings between 8:30 a.m. - noon. No appointment necessary, but spaces are limited and patients will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Community Blood Drive: Our Conowingo and Perryville sites will host a blood drive (open to the community, patients and staff) for the opportunity to provide a life-saving gift. Conowingo drive is 1:30 - 4 p.m.; Perryville is 9-11:30 a.m. For additional details, click here.
